Terms and Conditions for Electronic Payment (Pay Online by Credit Card)
Please read the Personal Information Collection Statement (https://www.ctflife.com.hk/en/disclaimer/pics) and the Appendix to the People's Republic of China (Addendum) of Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited (incorporated in Bermuda with limited liability) ("CTF Life", "we", "us" or "our")https://www.ctflife.com.hk/en/disclaimer/prcaddendum)before making payment.
The payer must be the policyowner or insured of the policy; all other payers are regarded as third-party payers. If we receive payment from a third-party payer's credit card, the payment will be refunded directly to the credit card account of the credit card holder in accordance with all prevailing rules of CTF Life. The company will provide an official payment receipt after reviewing the payment transaction; please allow 3 business days for the review process. If you pay online by credit card, you will be redirected to an online payment website provided by a third party. Please note the following:

To facilitate your insurance premium payment (including applicable levy), CTF Life hereby provides a link to the third party online payment service website provided by a third party online payment service provider ("TSP") for processing through a secure channel.

Each financial institution has its own security measures for online electronic payments using credit cards. Before proceeding with an online electronic payment, you should agree to the security measures taken by the relevant financial institution that issued the card. CTF Life cannot guarantee the security of any online payment and its results. Under no circumstances shall CTF Life be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of any online payment services provided by any third party, and for any loss or damage arising therefrom.

CTF Life is not responsible for and has no control over your personal data collected by third party payment service websites. CTF Life is not associated with the practices of third party service providers in relation to personal data privacy and security practices. CTF Life also has no control over where your personal data is processed by third party service providers and/or your card issuer.

You are solely responsible for verifying any data or information sent to the third party service provider. CTF Life will not be responsible or liable for any fraudulent or illegal activities carried out by third parties or for any loss or damage incurred by any third party in your credit card or credit card account as a result of your use of the third party online payment services.

Please have a valid VISA, Mastercard or American Express credit card for online payment. The card issuer may require the cardholder to enter a one-time password (OTP) and other information in order to authorize the payment online.

You understand and agree that CTF Life will process any payment received from your card issuer within a reasonable time after collection of your credit card information and subject to CTF Life's prevailing payment rules, and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising from any delay in processing your payment.

The payer must be the policyowner or insured of the policy, and all other payers are regarded as third party payers. If we receive payment from the third party payer's credit card, the payment will be refunded directly to the credit card account of the credit card holder in accordance with all prevailing rules of CTF Life.
8.
This online payment service is applicable to the payment of premium (Insurance premium) and the relevant levy (Insurance Levy). Additional administrative fees will be charged for using this online payment service platform according to the type of premium payment selected by the customer; please refer to the platform interface remarks.
9.
All refunds (if any) incurred after payment is processed through the Online Payment Services or all payments processed through the Online Payment Services will be made in Hong Kong dollars. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees or other charges incurred under payment or refund, which will be made at the exchange rate determined by CTF Life and the card issuer. Please check with CTF Life and your respective card issuer for the exchange rate and fees charged. CTF Life shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising from any currency conversion fees or other charges incurred in processing payments or refunds.

After payment of the premium and the relevant levy, you will be redirected to a payment confirmation page to confirm the receipt of your payment. We suggest to save your payment confirmation or take a screenshot of your payment confirmation page as a record of your transaction. The display of the payment confirmation page does not imply that CTF Life has unconditionally accepted your payment. The company will review the payment transaction and provide you with an official payment receipt; please allow 3 business days for the review process. We reserve the right to (i) request relevant supporting documents (including but not limited to proof of identity, payment, residential address, and relationship); and/or (ii) refuse to accept payment without giving reasons.
11.
We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without prior notice. In addition, we reserve the right to accept or reject any payment that does not comply with any of the above terms and conditions.
12.
In the event of any discrepancy between the English, Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified versions, the English version shall prevail.
I confirm that I have read, understood and agreed to the above contents, and agree to be redirected to online payment websites provided by third parties. I authorise Chow Tai Fook Life Insurance Company Limited to debit the premium of the relevant policy and the relevant levy from my credit card account. I hereby declare that I am the payer of the relevant policy premium and the relevant levy payment and the genuine holder of the credit card provided.
